A responsible brand for the future

Losano is an investor concept for a responsibility-driven athleisure-wear brand. Central to the concept is a vision of a future in which apparel brands take a wholly more ethical approach to the way they design, manufacture and ship clothing. By focusing on quality and performance, styles that transcend trends, and making and shipping everything sustainably, Losano is as much an ethos as it is a concept. Take less [from the planet], make less [in return], leave less [waste]; giving consumers every reason to eschew fast fashion and invest in brands that take their impact on the future of humanity and the planet seriously.

a visual architecture for defining the brand’s vision of a more responsible future.

The logo was designed to symbolize a vessel for forward movement [as in, into the future] and elevation [as in, the upward pursuit of a better world]. The visual identity includes brand standards for typography, type treatments, graphics, color palette, imagery and more. Copy and messaging is mission driven, meant to give the reader pause, make them reflect on their actions as a consumer, and ultimately move them to invest in a brand committed to forging a better future. The iconography was designed as part of a visual language that illustrates the brand’s core principles and its products unique features, with scientific, technological and environmental influences. The brand’s imagery is technically clean and minimal while at the same time raw, attitudinal and experimental.

A media-rich and visually illuminating website experience, designed to reflect the brand’s future-centric mindset with a focus on visual style, information architecture and branded content. The homepage is designed to be high performing while maintaining a sense of harmony, unity and flow that keeps the customer engaged and wanting to know more.

Landing pages that leverage full bleed, black and white editorial imagery, aggressive messaging and a combination of high and low contrast design elements, serve to create an elevated and immersive brand experience.
